Well here we are …. our blog training is finally complete, thanks to Matt at https://www.visionaryhubspace.com
I love wedding photography – there is nothing quite like the buzz of meeting with a couple for the first time, to hear about their plans for their Special Day, and to then work with them in the months that follow, feeling their nerves and excitement, as plans come together. Norfolk and Suffolk have so many beautiful wedding venues, from the North Norfolk coastline to the rolling fields and meadows of Suffolk, and I am constantly working on new ideas, to give each wedding its own unique feel, understanding how the couple feels and reacts in front of the camera so that on their wedding day they can relax and enjoy themselves, and not feel self-conscious. Ensuring that on the day itself all the images they want to be captured are, but in an unintrusive way.
After the wedding day, the hard work really starts for me, as I relive the day through the computer screen – preparing the pictures that will capture memories for a lifetime. I love to visit the new Mr & Mrs, where possible, to personally deliver their photos and slideshow, and have spent many hours watching their emotions unfold in front of me, as we sit together, sipping tea, reliving the tears of joy & laughter, as the “Do you remember ….” and “How on earth did you capture that?” questions start.
Wedding photography is not just a job – it’s a passion. It’s not about how good your equipment is – it’s what your eyes see, and how you express this through the lens of your camera.
With lots of weddings already completed this year and many more to come – keep an eye out for the next blog
